Job Centre at Joydens Wood Junior School

Our Job Centre has been setup to allow our pupils to take on responsibilities within the school. Each job has been carefully created and has its own job description. This allows our pupils to know what is expected of them while they undertake their duties. Each child must share their interest for the job via an application form which is reviewed by Mr Redford & Mrs Hensher. Along with taking on their jobs, the pupils are also paid weekly with Class Dojo points. If they do an excellent job and this is noticed by a member of staff then they may get a pay rise!

When children apply, they must explain in detail how they meet the person specification and how they would undertake the main duties and responsibilities. The more description the better chance they have of getting the job!
