Clubs at Joydens Wood Junior School - Terms 5 and 6 

Please find below the timetable of clubs offered at JWJS.  All our clubs are free of charge and are run by our teachers, unless run by outside providers who you will book directly with.

We use an online booking system to book our clubs.

Clubs for Terms 5 and 6 will run from Monday 25th April until Friday 1st July 2022.  They run from end of the school day until 4.15am.

Creative Writing Club – Monday, Belfast Class
 

Children will be able enjoy writing their own stories independently in a creative, calm environment. Allowing them to express their creativity through story telling.

Rounders – Monday, Front Playground 

The children will take part in games of rounders as well as learning game techniques.

Comic Book Club – Monday, Cardiff Class

Use real life comics to gain inspiration, then create your own comic book strips and characters.

Homework Club years 5 and 6 – Monday, Newport Class

Complete weekly homework, with the support of a teacher

Homework Club years 3 and 4 – Monday, Derry Class

Complete weekly homework, with the support of a teacher

Cooking Club – Tuesday, Swansea Class

Learn to cook a variety of sweet and savory treats in cooking club with Miss Potts and Mr Graham!

Draw with Rob - Tuesday, Newcastle Class 

The children will be following along with Rob Biddulph to create cartoon drawings.

Lego Club – Tuesday, Main Hall

Do you like connect plastic bricks together? Do you have a great imagination? Do you enjoy working in a team and fancy working with other children across the school? Well then come to Lego Club as we do all of this!

Netball – Wednesday, front playground

Learn how to play netball, play games and take part in matches!

JMF Allstars Football - Wednesday, front playground

The children will be participating in sprints, relays, longer distances, jumps, throws and obstacle races.
