Assemblies

Morning assemblies take place on a daily basis.  These assemblies are different each day including talk assemblies, house challenge, book assemblies and values.

Golden Assembly

These take place on a Friday afternoon at 2.30pm when we celebrate the children's achievements during the week with presentation of Star of the Week to a child in each class.

We also look at work that some of the children have produced during the week.  Additionally, we announce the winners of TT Rock Stars, the house with the highest Dojo points, sporting achievements and winners of the tidy classrooms.

For this celebration assembly, we ask our children to bring in any certificates, medals, photographs or video's of activities that they take part in out of school so that they can talk to the rest of the school about the great things that they do.

In most of our Friday assemblies, we have our musicians playing their instruments as children enter and exit assembly.

Class Assemblies

Each of our classes will take one assembly each year on a Tuesday morning, based on learning that they are doing in class, parents are invited to these.

Values Assemblies

Once a term our Friday assembly is dedicated to our Value Assembly and Star of the Term when parents of those children being awarded are invited via text a week in advance.  Each teacher nominates a child in their class for the Value Award who they believe has understood and applied this value the most during the term. We like this to be a surprise for our children, so we ask that mums. dads and carers do not let their children know in advance that they are coming.

Special Occasion Assemblies

Throughout the year we will hold assemblies to recognise national celebrations and remembrance.
