Our Trustees at Joydens Wood Junior School
The Governing Body of Joydens Wood Junior School is the key strategic decision maker and vision setter and plays a major part in the school’s accountability.
It has a vital role to play in driving up school and pupil performance and ensuring that resources are used well to ensure every child has the best possible education.
In accordance with the Government’s requirements the Trust Body concentrates on the three core strategic functions:
School Trustees are all volunteers and give a huge amount of their time for the benefit of the children. They act first and foremost in the best interests of the school.
At JWJS, we operate on a Circle Method with Trustees being given a statutory responsibility to monitor and an area of the SIP.
